Cecil County awards JJID the contract for a 15 acre expansion of refuse handling facilities in North East, MD.
Railroad Construction
Amtrak awarded JJID the contract for drainage improvements along the Philadelphia / Harrisburg Line at Overbrook Station.
The Delaware Contractors Association and the State of Delaware awarded
the 2006 Construction Excellence Award for Highway Construction in
the under $5 Million category, to JJID, Inc. for the Second Street
Revitalization Project in Lewes, DE. The Project involved replacing
roadways, installing brick crosswalks, new sidewalks and landscaping
in the heart of the business district in historic downtown. Overhead
utilities were relocated underground, along with new storm, sanitary
and water distribution systems. JJID earned the recognition of this
prestigious award in part by completing the project to the satisfaction
of the business community within the demanding nine month schedule
and targeted budget.
